How a project runs, what is included, and what your procurement team will need.
Active Idler is a production company based in Bangalore, founded by filmmaker Mayur Srivatsav in 2021. You deal directly with the person leading your production, from the first call to the final cut.
This page sets out how we usually work, so your team knows what to expect before the first call. The job can change these terms, and we will tell you if it does.

You tell us what you need. We ask a few questions, because we would rather ask than guess.

Send your NDA and your vendor forms before we talk about the project, and tell us what your procurement team needs.

You get a written scope and a price before any work starts.

The work
We shoot and edit to the agreed scope, and tell you straight away if anything changes.

English, French, Kannada, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. Mayur also lived and worked in France for six years.
We are filmmakers, not lawyers, so we do not give legal or tax advice. We do not shoot a CSR film in which poverty is the backdrop, and we do not offer a film-quickly-and-leave approach as a substitute for permissions.
