Active Idler makes employee story films, office b-roll and work-life portraits in India for employer brand teams and the agencies that work with them. It is the same job in either medium: show real people doing their real work.
We have shot for Dell Technologies in India since 2022 through a US-based agency, including CSR video and photography in villages in Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. Through the same agency we have shot for AstraZeneca in Chennai and Bangalore, and run a photo and video day for Cencora in Pune. We also made an employee testimonial film for Turing.

Scope
You tell us which offices, how many people and where the work will run. We ask a few questions before we price, because we would rather ask than guess.

Plan
We agree who is being photographed or filmed, where and when, so a shoot day takes as little of your team’s time as it can.

Shoot
We shoot on location, with a crew sized to the job.

Deliver
You get the edited photographs or the finished film. Edits normally take 7 to 10 working days and include two rounds of revisions.

Yes. We work across India. Travel and stay outside Bangalore are charged separately, at cost.
